Introduction
Dear visitor,
I am Péter Gyekiczki, a painter and graphic artist. A person of both movement and calm, I enjoy traveling and embracing the vibrant life. Simultaneously, I am also an artist at heart, portraying the peaceful connection between creative nature and the soul on canvas.
In my challenging and eventful life, I find depth and relaxation in spirituality and art. This includes listening to music or practicing painting in the quiet of nature. This is complemented by my love for dancing and, whenever time allows, hiking and kayaking.
My aim is to share a pleasant impression through oil, acrylic, watercolor, or pastel techniques. Allowing the viewer to experience the vibrant dance, still life, or even the spirituality of Taizé through my art, or to relive the experience of being there in their own homes.

Pride fills me to be Hungarian. I come from the small town of Szarvas, located in the geographical center of Europe and within it, the Carpathian Basin.
I first saw the light of day in the city of Gyula, famous for its baths, and although I spend most of my life in Szeged, my heart is drawn back to my parental home, the beauty of the dead arm of the Körös River, and the beautiful arboretum. These carefree childhood years laid the foundations for painting and drawing. Drawing and painting were always at the center, surrounded by water and nature. However, dance, kayaking, and childlike spirituality made it complete. They are still part of the themes and foundations of my art to this day.
The early young years of drawing, watercolor, and pastel creations were complemented by studies, which included professional years of graphic basics, followed by computer graphics/photos. In my current work, the earlier sketches continue to reappear, and for years, acrylic paintings have been enriching the palette, now appropriately complemented by the oil technique.
My favorite inspiring and returning place is Taizé in France, where the spiritual places and landscapes are interspersed with floral still lifes. My themes also include: exciting and challenging portraits, full-length, dynamic images of pairs of photos that speak of dance and music.
